Born 1997 in Germany and currently living with my partner in a seaside town in Ireland.
I am transmale, queer, an artist, a naturalist, irreligious, an outdoorsman, a rewilder, a dreamer, an overthinker, perfectionist, hedonistic, a survival and simulation games enjoyer, especially passionate about zoology and paleontology, among other things.
But before most else, I am a therianthrope; An animal-person, in the most literal sense, to the very core. I feel and experience myself as fundamentally nonhuman in several ways.
This fact bleeds into all other aspects of my life and identity. It is not something I consciously chose or decided to be, or something I can just quit.
I knew this about myself before I learned that there is a word for this phenomenon.
When I stumbled across the term therianthropy around 2013, it pretty much instantly clicked with me, and I've been lurking in many therian and alterhuman online spaces since.
While I've done a lot of introspection and "soul-searching" over the years, and I'm certain that my nonhumanity is an intrinsic and permanent part of me, I am also still ever questioning and learning as well as overthinking everything.
I write in more detail about my personal nonhumanity here.
